2012年6月1-5日，美國臨床腫瘤學會（ASCO）年會在芝加哥召開，主題為：“聯合起來攻克癌症（Collaborating to Conquer Cancer）"。

　　本屆年會由ASCO 2011-2012癌症教育委員會（Cancer Education Committee）和科學計劃委員會（Scientific Program Committee）主辦，包括以下會議專場：教育專場（Education Sessions）、特別專場（Special Sessions）、全體會議（Plenary Session）、口頭報告（Oral Abstract Sessions）、臨床科學論壇（Clinical Science Symposia）、每日專場亮點（Highlights of the Day Sessions）、腫瘤學臨床問題專場（Clinical Problems in Oncology Sessions）、教授見麵會（Meet the Professor Sessions）、壁報討論會（Poster Discussion Sessions）和普通壁報專場（General Poster Sessions）。

　　ASCO年會以展示癌症基礎和臨床最新研究為特點，共有來自100多個國家的25000多名醫生、研究者和其他相關人員參加本屆年會。
